Recall, Update and Save Specification Request Information

We have recently enabled a data base within our Specification Request form. Users can now recall, update, and save modifications to existing projects with the ability to access prior entries when needed for reference.

A project ID is e-mailed with each submission of the form. Simply click on the Project ID link and the related project information will be posted back to the form for editing. Resubmitting the form will generate a new Project ID link. Clicking on the new Project ID will give access to the latest project information. Prior Project ID’s will remain active allowing access to information as entered at the time the Project ID was generated. Project ID’s may be shared to consolidate efforts and get a team on the same page.

This is a powerful tracking tool building designers may want to consider for use throughout the term of any project design.

Specification Registration Program

For 90 days from this posting, DLR Sales, Inc. will pay a commission of $25.00 for each opportunity to write finish hardware specifications within the following conditions:

  1. Projects must be within the DLR Sales, Inc. territory.
  2. Fed Tax ID or SSN # provided prior to payments.
  3. 10 doors (min.) per submission.
  4. Required fields must be submitted within the DLR Sales Inc. Specification Request form.
  5. The Project Architect/Designer contact information is required.
  6. Plan informatin must be uploaded to the FTP project folder. (Contact DLR Sales, Inc. for project folder).
  7. Projects may only be submitted once. (Phased work may be submitted in phases).
  8. Standard DLR Sales, Inc. Specification Request terms apply.

Payments will be made the first week of each month, for specifications submitted the prior month as stated above.

The DLR Sales, Inc. web site (www.dlrsales.com) may be used to solicit specifications on behalf of DLR Sales, Inc. only.

Commissions may be earned when prospective Designers fill out the Specification Request form directly. In such cases, prior notification indicating target efforts must be provided to DLR Sales, Inc. by claimant. This may be accomplished by noting within a Specification Request Form submission. Claims of work must be submitted and acknowledged by DLR Sales, Inc. (via e-mail) prior to project submissions made directly by Architect/Desiner.

FTP Server at DLR Sales, Inc.

With the increasing need to share, consolidate, and transfer large files quickly, DLR Sales, Inc. has set up a FTP server to address these needs.

Project folders for all active specification, and service work will be posted to this FTP site and left available for a period after the work is completed.

Kaiser contract specifications often call out for additional operating keys and keying equipment.

Be sure to watch for these additional items that may be called out in the specification preamble. Often extra key blanks, operating keys, and key cutters are listed in the preamble and must be included under the door frame and hardware supplier’s scope. These are additional items that need to be noted and included at time of bid. Be sure to cover them by including them in your quote request.
